Black dogs and Englishmen: Clifford Beal GIDEON'S ANGEL reading in Surrey on Hallowe'en

In a perfect date for Hallowe'en, Clifford Beal will be reading from his demonic English Civil War novel, GIDEON'S ANGEL, next week.

Clifford will be doing a reading and signing on Hallowe'en (31 Oct) at the Crown Inn - a 16th century coaching house in Old Oxted, Surrey.

This will be rather apt as the chapter he'll be reading takes place at a coaching inn and involves a visitation from a Black Dog!

Taking place at 7.30pm, the pub is on 53 High Street, Old Oxted RH8 9LN. There will be light food offered by the landlord but drinks are cash on the barrel we're afraid.

The perfect venue for a bit of dark swashbuckling, eh?
