Tomorrow's the big day: TWO Solaris authors are up for the Philip K. Dick Awards

This year not one but TWO Solaris authors have found themselves on the shortlist for the 2012 Philip K. Dick Awards!

These are Eric Brown for Helix Wars and Keith Brooke for Harmony (released in the UK as alt.human).

The winner will be announced in Seattle this Friday as part of Norwescon 36 and we're keeping all our fingers and toes crossed for the guys!

These two novels, one set in the distant reaches of space, and one set on an earth under alien-occupation are both extraordinary feats of imagination and we're just glad that the judges clearly agree what exceptional talents both Eric and Keith are.
