Intrigue, spies, candlelight and debauchery – The Laurentine Spy sounds like my kind of novel (or a typical weekend for Mark Newton) and for the cover we’ve managed to bag ourselves another fantastic Larry Rostant cover.
We used Larry for Emily Gee’s first novel, The Thief with no Shadow and, although this isn’t a sequel, we wanted to keep the series feel going. I think this does a really good job of capturing the feel of the book. As ever, Larry’s done a great job of making the fantastic seem utterly real.
