Bits and Pieces

It's a Monday, so not much time to compose coherent thoughts.

Eric Brown has delievered the revised manuscript of Kéthani. Here's what it's about:

"Kéthani follows a group of friends whose lives are changed for ever when the mysterious alien race known as the Kéthani come to Earth bearing a dubious but amazing gift - immortality. The episodes deal with the human emotions in the face of the vast consequences of the alien arrival, and show how humanity reacts to the benign invasion, how ultimately we evolve as we gain the stars."

It's fantastic, let me tell you. Expect us to be plugging the hell out of it.

Now, we use Apple Macs in the office, and we love them. Some more than others; some to an unnatural level (ahem...). But using Mitchell and Webb for their adverts was genius.

Having read Eric's Kethani story in the Solaris anthology, I'm really looking forward to this. When't it going to be out?

Hi David,

It'll be a while before it's out - 2008 in fact! Although, proof copies will be knocking around before then, so we'll make sure you get your hands on one!

I'm writing a review of the anthology for that esteemed champion of speculative fiction, The Telegraph and Argus in Bradford, which should be in this Saturday. I'll drop you a pdf of the page or a link to the online version.
